Ledgy is an employee self-service app published by Elixiware (“we”). This policy explains what the app collects and why. It applies to the Ledgy mobile app for Android and iOS. Ledgy is for employees of companies that use Elixiware. Your employer creates your account and invites you. There is no public registration.
Your employer decides what HR information is kept about you and is the organization you should contact first about that information. Elixiware provides the app and the service that stores it for your employer.
Account. When you sign in we receive your email address and password, and we store a session token on your device. Your name and employee profile are loaded from your company account.
Employee records. Depending on what your employer has set up, the app shows your job title, employee number, attendance, leave balances and requests, financial requests (such as advances, expenses, and loans), pay details, and conduct records. This information is provided by your employer. Pay amounts stay hidden until you choose to show them.
Location. If your company requires a workplace check, the app reads your location while you are using it and sends that location with your check-in or check-out. Ledgy does not collect location in the background and does not build a location history beyond what is needed to record attendance.
Face and fingerprint. If you turn on quick unlock, the operating system checks your face or fingerprint. Ledgy does not receive that biometric data. So the app can sign you in afterwards, your password is stored in the iOS keychain or the Android keystore on that device.
Language. The language you pick is stored on the device.
Ledgy does not show ads. It does not sell your information. This version of the app does not include an analytics or crash-reporting SDK, and it does not use the advertising identifier.
We use this information to sign you in, to show your HR information, to record attendance and requests, and to keep the app secure. We do not use it for advertising.
Your employer can see the attendance, leave, and requests you submit, because that is the purpose of the service. We use service providers only to host and operate Ledgy. We do not give your information to advertisers or data brokers.
Session tokens stay on your device until you sign out or the session ends. HR records are kept for as long as your employer’s account requires. If you turn off quick unlock, the password stored in the keychain or keystore is removed.
You can deny location permission. If your company requires a workplace check, check-in will not complete without it. You can turn off face or fingerprint unlock in the profile screen. You can ask your employer, or email [SUPPORT_EMAIL], to access or delete your account. Because the account belongs to your employer’s HR system, some records may be kept where employment law requires it.
Ledgy is not for anyone under 18. It is an employee app.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and publish the new version at this URL.
